The music for a movie or TV show can often make or break the final product, as the choice of songs or orchestral score can add just the right feeling to each scene.
For a coming-of-age series such as the MCU’s latest entry, Ms. Marvel, this is hugely important as young Kamala Khan seeks to find her own place in the superpowered universe.
As such, it’s no surprise that the show is packed with music, but what songs feature in the Ms. Marvel soundtrack?

Who composed the score?
In addition to a host of licensed songs in its soundtrack, Ms. Marvel also uses its own cinematic score which is the work of composer Laura Karpman.
The Los Angeles-born composer has been composing music for movies, TV series and video games for more than 30 years after returning to her first credits in 1989.
With over 140 compositions to her name, it’s hard to choose Laura’s most recognizable work, but some of her most recent scores include Lovecraft Country, Why We Hate, LA’s Finest, Underground, 61st Street and the Marvel series What if…?
Impressive, Laura Karpman’s work has seen her win five Emmys along with her awards for Lovecraft Country, Science Fiction Masters, Odyssey 5 and two for the docuseries why we hate.
As more episodes of Ms Marvel arrived, the score for the series was released in two volumes and which are now available to stream on sites like Spotify and Apple Music.
Ms. Marvel is available to stream now on Disney+ after its release on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
