EASTER BUNNY: The 44444 The People will be sponsoring a Bunny Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at VFW Post 3332 on Arlington Road, Newton Falls. Easter basket raffles, crafts for kids and pictures with the Easter bunny will be available.
TNP SEMINAR: The Ohio Minority Business Assistance Center, Chase Bank, Trumbull County Land Bank, and the Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership are partnering to present a seminar for minority-owned construction and trade businesses where they will learn to do business with TNP. The seminar will be held from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Brite Energy Innovators, 125 W. Market St. in downtown Warren.
AID MISSION: Warren Family Mission is planning its annual Easter dinner for Friday and needs donations of ham, boxes of mashed potatoes, boxes of corn, Hawaiian rolls and desserts. Items can be dropped off at 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, or call 330-394-5437.
ANNIVERSARY: Trinity Baptist Church, 235 Highland Ave., will celebrate its 61st church anniversary at 10 a.m. today.
EASTER EVENT: Victory Christian Center in Warren will host an Easter event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for local children.
EGG HUNT: Grace AME Church, 1137 Main St. SW, will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday noon for children ages 3-12. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
SOUTHINGTON EASTER: The Township of Southington will hold an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at the gazebo in the center. Children can have their picture taken with the Easter bunny.
EASTER EGG HUNT: The City of Girard Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday noon at Tod Park for children ages 3-8.
SIGN LANGUAGE: American Sign Language classes will be held Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Girard Free Library. There will also be a session from 6 to 7 p.m. on April 19. Both classes are for ages 12 and up. To register, call 330-545-2508.
LIBRARY PROGRAM: The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles will host a painting class for beginners at 1 p.m. Thursday. Spring flowers will be the inspiration for the program. The material will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required by calling the library at 330-652-1704.
NURTURING PATHWAYS: The fifth “Encouraging the paths of freedom” The Sutliff Museum Lecture Series concludes at 2 p.m. today as Sutliff Museum Director Melissa Karman will present “The Sutliff Family and the Underground Railroad.” The Sutliffs were a pioneer family from Trumbull County, originally from Connecticut. It is the last of three free programs in the series and will be shown in the community auditorium of the Boscov department store in the Eastwood Mall. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
CONFERENCE AT THE TOWN HALL: “On the Road with Steve Hartman” is coming to the Trumbull Town Hall Lecture Series on April 20 at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren. ”
Steve Hartman is well known for his multi-award winning feature film series, “Everyone has a story.” He proves the adage by throwing a dart at a map of America and randomly choosing an interview topic.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the program begins at 10:30 a.m.
