Every concert in Lake George this summer

LAKE GEORGE, NY (NEWS10) – It’s summer in the Lake George area. The village kicked off its series of free Friday night concerts – including one this Friday in support of the family affected by a motorcycle accident on Route 9 last Sunday. Charles R. Wood Park is planning his own series of music festivals.

Find out where to catch free community concerts and full festival weekends this summer, starting with weekly lakeside music during parts of the summer. The following list may be subject to change as more events are added.

Musical Mondays

Every Monday from July 11 to August 29. Bobbie Dick and Susie Q present free kid-friendly shows.

Tuesday Tribute Concert Series

Jonathan Newell conducts a series of concerts paying tribute to different groups and musical styles. Shows take place every Tuesday from July 5 to August 30.

Lake George Arts Project Wednesday Concerts

A series of free concerts at 7 p.m. in Shepard Park. This year’s lineup includes bands from Nashville, New Jersey and Boston, as well as several local artists. The range includes:

Lake George Community Band

The Lake George Community Band performs free weekly concerts on Thursdays, beginning at 8 p.m. Each concert is followed by fireworks. The band plays at the Shepard Park Bandstand every Thursday from June 30 to July 28.

Fridays at the Lake Summer Concert Series

A series of free concerts at Shepard Park in downtown Lake George. Music plays every Friday night. The concerts include food trucks, a beer and wine tent, face painting and bouncy houses. Each show accepts pets.

Rockin’ for the Ronald Music Festival

A two-day benefit show at Shepard Park in Lake George. The show benefits Krantz Vacation Cottage, a site opened in 2021 by Ronald McDonald House. Krantz Cottage provides a home away from home for families with children with cancer or other illnesses. Free entry. Profits come from the sale of crafts, food and beverages.

Rock the Lake 2022

A one-day concert of classic hits at Charles R. Wood Park. Tribute bands play classics from Kiss, Journey, Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks and more. Admission is $29 for general admission, $49 for VIP.

Lake George Music Festival

Lake George’s annual week-long classical music festival returns in August. Performers visit the area from all over the United States and abroad. All shows are held at the Carriage House in Fort William Henry and are offered with festival admission or for $20 at the door, unless otherwise specified.

Adirondacks Independence Music Festival

A three-day summer-closing music festival at the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons on Labor Day weekend September 2-4. Weekend tickets are $175 for general admission or $325 for VIP. Times for specific groups are to be determined. Upcoming bands include:
