Reviews are coming in from London critics for Bartlett Sher’s cover of my lovely lady, which moved to the London Coliseum in the West End after a 2018-19 run on Broadway at Lincoln Center. Production officially began on May 18, following previews that began on May 7.

Tony winner Bartlett Sher leads the cast with Amara Okereke (Spring Awakening, Les Miserables) as Eliza Doolittle and Harry Hadden-Paton (Downton Abbey, flying over the sunset) in retaliation for his Tony-nominated performance as Henry Higgins. Dame Vanessa Redgrave plays Mrs. Higgins, Maureen Beattie as Mrs. Pearce, Sharif Afifi as Freddie Eynesford-Hill, Stephen K. Amos as Alfred P. Doolittle, and candidate Olivier Malcolm Sinclair as Colonel Pickering.
