Last week, SG Lewis returned with two new singles: the nocturnal dancefloor ‘Missing You’ and the Italian-influenced anthem ‘Something About Your Love’. Right out of the gate, “Missing You,” which The FADER hailed as an “80s synth rave carried on the back of a catchy beat sprinkled with Linn drums that would make The Weeknd salivate from the Starboy era “, reached dancefloor glory with its shimmering synths and neon bassline, nodding to 80s new wave with a singsong chorus, “I don’t miss you like I’m supposed to.”

On the other hand, “Something About Your Love” fuses a funk-tinged bass line and tambourine with a bright chorus. The release was celebrated by Dancing Astronaut, who said “All in all, Missing You / Something About Your Love affirms SG Lewis’s status as a musical writer with a knack for fusing the sounds of decades past with the sounds of today in an ever new dance floor – facing fashion.” Both tracks are available for purchase/streaming as double A-side singles today via Astralwerks.
