The announcement of Squid’s 2022 tour dates first appeared on Consequence.
British post-punks Squid have come out in force this year, with their debut LP Light green field being named one of the best albums of 2021. Now they’re ready to take a victory lap. Today, the group announced a series of tour dates for 2022.
Before Ollie Judge, Louis Borlase, Arthur Leadbetter, Laurie Nankivell and Anton Pearson arrive in North America in March, they will perform a series of shows in the UK in January. The group’s 13-date excursion across the pond takes them from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast, with stops in Canada in between. Then they return to Europe in June to hit the festival circuit, before performing at the inaugural Primavera Sound festival in Los Angeles in September.
