The Rob Strong Band with special guests Niamh Strong, Doc O Connor & Salvatore Urbano


Rob Strong will perform with a SIX piece band for a special engagement themed show on Saturday 9th July at the fabulous Seamus Ennis Center The Naul Co Dublin. The venue, on the border of Meath and Dublin, has been packed with audiences all summer long with many of Ireland’s best bands such as Bell X, Jerry Fish, The Stunning and Paul Brady. It is just 5 km from junction 6 of the M1 motorway.

Rob Strong is often known as The Godfather of Soul in Ireland and always enjoyed huge success in the region playing residencies at The Cradle Rock and The Harbor Bar in Rush in the 80s and 90s. liked the Commitments, you will love this show because it will be an evening of rock music and pure nostalgia!

Niamh Strong, Derek ‘Doc’ O’ Connor and Salvatore Urbano join the Rob Strong Band as special guests. Niamh Strong is a fabulous singer in her own right and frequently tours Scandinavia with her brother Andrew Strong (Deco Cuffe of The Commitments). Doc on Saxophone, probably Ireland’s finest saxophonist, has worked with Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats, The Late Late Show, Imelda May, RTE Orchestra, Paul Brady, Wet Wet Wet, Chaka Khan, and toured with The Commitments. Salvatore is a fabulous keyboard player and has played with Don Baker and Sinead O’ Connor
