Turnpike Troubadours are scheduled to play two nights at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville later this year. The band surprised fans with today’s (February 21) announcement via their social media pages.

“This is special for us”, the message read. “[The Ryman] is a piece that we have wanted to play for a very long time.”

The Oklahoma band will make their headlining debut at the historic site on July 29-30. The shows mark the first time the group will return to Nashville since reuniting earlier this year after a three-year hiatus. During this time away from the spotlight, frontman Evan Felker got sober, remarried his wife, Staci, and welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Evangelina Hartford Felker.

As fans patiently await new music from the band, the Troubadours continue to fulfill a busy touring schedule for the months to come. In addition to stops across Texas in April and May, they will perform two nights at the Red Rocks Amphitheater before joining the summer music festival circuit, which includes sets at Under The Big Sky Festival and FloydFest. .

Tickets for Turnpike Troubadours’ Ryman Auditorium shows go on sale Friday, February 25 at 10 a.m. CST. You can find more ticketing information on the band’s official website.
