Upcoming Cramerton Holiday Events


Cramerton Parks and Recreation wants to see the community smile and fraternize at its vacation events which will take place on Thursday December 2 and Saturday December 4.

“I think we all took some things for granted before the pandemic and it’s nice to see families getting excited about the events we have,” said Rachel Andrea, the city’s special events and programs supervisor.

The city will host two holiday-themed events on Thursday, December 2, and two holiday-themed events on Saturday, December 4.

All events are free.

The Christmas Village

THE DESCRIPTION: Activities include local vendors selling merchandise such as handmade art canvases, indoor and outdoor metal artwork, hand-sewn clothing and more.

DATED: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 2.

SITE: The Centennial Center in downtown Cramerton, located at 100 Center Street.

Christmas parade

THE DESCRIPTION: Groups like the Honey Hunters baseball team, Santa Claus and local bands will participate in a Christmas parade. Local bands include the Stuart Cramer, Forestview and South Point High School bands.

DATED: 4 p.m. Thursday, December 2.

SITE: From Market Street and down Eighth Avenue to downtown Riverfront.

Local marching bands like the Stuart Cramer, South Point and Forestview High School marching bands will perform in a Christmas parade in Cramerton on Thursday, December 2nd.

Yoga session

THE DESCRIPTION: A vacation-themed yoga session will be hosted by Tina Berens where vacation-themed music will be played as she teaches how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

DATED: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 4.

SITE: The CB Huss Recreation Center located at 8 Julian Street.

Holiday Bazaar

THE DESCRIPTION: Over 50 vendors will sell items such as handmade jewelry, raw honey and lip balm from beekeeping groups, candles, puzzles, books, farmhouse decorations and more.

Customers can also get free professional photos with Santa Claus and receive free hot chocolate from The Wandering Cup, a local Belmont business.

DATED: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 4.

SITE: The CB Huss Recreation Center located at 8 Julian Street.

Customers can use a QR code that will be displayed at the meeting and welcoming place of Santa Claus to upload their photos with Santa Claus.

Cramerton Parks and Recreation will also upload a link to its social media pages for guests to upload their photos with Santa Claus at the end of the event.
