WITH SURVEY | Tribute to the Stones, local band at the rock Perot Theater


TEXARKANA, Texas — Classical music will give way to classic rock on June 17 at the Perot Theater.

Tribute band Satisfaction will perform their collection of Rolling Stones hits in a show co-presented by the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra and the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council. The local group Chasing Rita will be opening.

“If you’re a rock ‘n’ roll fan, this show is for you,” said TRAHC Executive Director Jennifer Unger. “TRAHC is thrilled to co-present this show with TSO. I’m thrilled that our two organizations are able to work together to bring this show to our community. It’s going to be an amazing night of great music.”

Entering its 20th year of production, Satisfaction/The International Rolling Stones Show plays 150 shows a year, has more than 4,000 total performances under its belt and promises “the most authentic cast and costumes of its kind”, according to a Press release.

Texarkana native Chris LeGrand founded the series in 2000 and plays Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

Satisfaction has been featured in Rolling Stone magazine, Showbiz Magazine, Las Vegas Today, CBS Sunday Morning and hundreds of national newspapers, magazines, TV and radio shows as the world’s largest show honoring the Rolling Stones and their legacy.

“Nothing is as iconic as the music of The Rolling Stones. TSO is thrilled to work with TRAHC to bring this fantastic tribute band back to the Perot stage,” said Andrew Clark, Managing Director of TSO and General Manager of the Perot Theatre.
